Advocacy Often those affected by the pain of a burn injury or death find meaning in their experience by becoming advocates for change. As a national organization, The Phoenix Society's efforts are focused on policy development and legislative measures that would have a permanent impact on decreasing burn injuries or improving the care of those with burn injuries. We disseminate information and educate our members so that they can become active in promoting change.
